This position is essential for representing clients in civil litigation matters and ensuring their rights are protected throughout the legal process. Responsibilities
Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings related to civil litigation.
Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive legal documents.
Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal correspondence with precision.
Engage in negotiation and mediation processes to resolve disputes efficiently.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic legal advice.
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting litigation practices.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in California.
Proven experience in litigation with a strong understanding of civil procedures.
Excellent legal research and writing skills are essential.
Familiarity with LexisNexis for legal research is preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
