Summary
We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of three years experience to join our team at Brunn & Flynn. In this role, you will support our attorneys in various aspects of litigation by conducting legal research, drafting documents, and managing case files. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring our clients receive the highest level of legal representation.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with case preparation by conducting thorough legal research.
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Manage case files and maintain organized records for ongoing litigation.
Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case status.
Coordinate with court personnel for filing documents and scheduling hearings.
Utilize Lexis for legal research and case law analysis.
Support trial preparation by organizing exhibits and preparing trial notebooks.
Requirements
Paralegal certificate required.
Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment.
Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures related to litigation.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw.
Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
