Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance. This role is critical in ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently and effectively, contributing to a safe and productive environment.
Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues and troubleshoot problems.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and identify areas requiring attention.
Conduct residential painting as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
Lead small teams during maintenance projects, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Execute welding tasks for repairs or modifications as required.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities.
Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings.
Experience with electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, residential painting, and welding is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
