Project Manager - Underground Construction

Browning Contractors Inc., a trusted leader in underground construction serving California's Central Valley, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to join our growing team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who excels in a collaborative environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and performance.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent technical training and relevant experience.
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage field crews and coordinate operations.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Proficiency in project documentation, scheduling, and cost control.
Experience in underground utility work is preferred.
Familiarity with HCSS software is a plus.
Valid California Class A, B, or C driver's license and clean DMV record are required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordinate project setup, including securing necessary permits and licenses.
Assist in planning and executing field operations.
Manage equipment logistics, material deliveries, and field orders.
Schedule and oversee required testing and inspections.
Maintain accurate records, including as-built drawings and project progress updates.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure all project objectives and quality standards are met.
Utilize project management software and systems to monitor team performance and timelines.
Maintain a professional, detail-oriented, and positive approach at all times.
Stay current with industry technologies, trends, and procedures.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time, primarily field-based position located throughout the Central Valley. Weekly hours will average around 45, depending on weather conditions and project demands.
