Job Summary
Are you an experienced residential real estate closer (real estate paralegal or settlement company closer) looking for a firm that values your skills? At Tucker Griffin Barnes P.C., we've built our reputation with smart and dedicated staff focused on taking care of our clients.
We're currently hiring for our Charlottesville and Lake Monticello offices. This full-time role offers a competitive salary based on experience, semi-annual bonuses, and overtime pay. Closers are supported by dedicated Pre-Closing and Post-Closing staff to help ensure efficient settlements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare complete settlement packets for sales, purchases, and refinances
Draft and review Closing Disclosures and ALTA Settlement Statements
Communicate with lenders, agents, buyers, and sellers to coordinate closings
Ensure title requirements and deadlines are met
Conduct closings and guide clients through final document signing.
Oversee the disbursement of funds
Maintain accurate and organized closing files
Handle a steady volume of files using real estate software
Qualifications
