Position Summary:
The Claims Division Manager will oversee the entire insurance claims process-strategically managing a team of field reps, estimators, and coordinators while ensuring a seamless customer experience. This role requires deep knowledge of roofing systems and insurance processes, along with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the claims division, including field inspectors, coordinators, and estimators
Serve as the escalation point for complex claims and adjuster negotiations
Oversee the review, submission, and follow-up of scope supplements and insurance paperwork
Maintain department KPIs, timelines, and communication standards
Build strong relationships with insurance adjusters and third-party providers
Ensure accurate documentation, estimate accuracy, and compliance with regulations
Collaborate closely with the sales and production teams to align timelines and scopes
Recruit, train, and mentor claims staff to uphold company values and performance standards
Evaluate and improve internal workflows and technology tools used in the claims process
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in roofing, restoration, or insurance claim management
Proven leadership or management experience in a similar role
Expert understanding of insurance claims processes and roofing systems
Xactimate experience strongly preferred
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Bilingual a plus (Spanish/English)
