Job Title: Space Technician
Location: Bethel, CT
Duration: 3-month Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Pay Range: $30 - $31/Hr
Responsibilities:
Assemble, setup, and maintain tooling.
Assemble, test, calibrate, and thermally compensate an electro/mechanical device.
Maintain quality records.
Interface and/or interpret internal customer and supplier requirements.
Perform final acceptance testing on electro/mechanical pressure sensor (ATP)
Required Qualifications:
Ability to work using a microscope.
Basic knowledge of quality standards.
Basic knowledge of written instructions, visual aids, sketches, and blueprints.
Intermediate mechanical aptitude.
Basic computer skills (Excel/Word)
A High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a complex role in a manufacturing environment required.
Minimum 1 year of experience working with wiring schematics and intricate blueprints required.
This position requires the use of information or access to hardware that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
