Structural and Miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection company is looking for good crew leaders that can read prints, work independently with minimal supervision, and run a 4+ man erection crew. Good pay and benefits with a company truck for the right candidate.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years combined experience of construction and construction foreman work.
Must have proven ability to schedule projects and personnel. Be able to meet schedules within determined deadlines.
Working experience with all phases of construction. Be able to work from drawings and blueprints.
Must be able to receive and deliver instructions flawlessly. Be able to communicate calmly, clearly, and professionally.
Must be able to follow complex instructions, master basic math calculations, think logically in following instructions and carrying out procedures.
Must be able to use simple software systems such as Microsoft Office products and google drive.
Driver's license required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Work alongside your crew
Supervise and assign work to team members.
Responsible for ensuring team members are following proper safety procedures.
Responsible for communication to the Project manager and Superintendent for various planning.
Acts as a QCI to ensure work is inspected and Quality Assurance checklists are signed and executed
Responsible for completion of daily site paperwork.
Responsible for timely completion of projects.
Establishes project and construction priorities.
Coordinates schedule needs with Superintendent .
Opens and closes all sites.
Responsible for maintaining relationships, and communicating with customers, both internal and external.
