TITLE: TELLER SUPERVIOSR
REPORTS TO: OPERATIONS MANAGER
PURPOSE: To serve as a liaison between the member and the credit union and to professionally handle
member's financial needs including, but not limited to, teller transactions, account maintenance requests, cash handling, and various office duties as needed. In addition, the Teller Supervisor role provides support and assists the operations manager in the supervision of the teller line, cash management activities and to solve member problems and help with complex work-related matters. Must also perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties in the preparation of reports, procedures, member correspondence and other communications. Utilize a range of computer applications, daily operating systems and Microsoft office applications.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
Ability to effectively interact with both members and staff is critical.
Must maintain a professional and positive attitude and demeanor towards all members at all times.
Respond to member requests, problems, and complaints, and resolve issues.
Open new accounts and service existing accounts. Set up new account files and provide members with all necessary information for membership.
Promote credit union products and services based on member needs that are obtained from member interviews and/or review of member's account. Actively cross-sell products.
Balance ATM and monitor activity on a daily basis.
Maintain knowledge on all credit union products and services and credit union rules and regulations.
Assist Operations Manager in supervision of teller area.
Assist tellers as required with member questions or any transactional question needs clarification and provide training as needed.
Assist Operation Manager to serve as vault teller for the credit union, which includes ordering the cash, verifying cash received, filling teller cash orders, maintaining full vault security, and balancing vault cash nightly.
Utilize credit union procedures and computer applications that may include e-mail, internet, word processing, spreadsheet, database and system software.
Perform secretarial and office clerical duties as required.
Maintain knowledge of all state and federal regulations that are applicable to the federal and state regulations.
Provide confidential, professional support for the management of the credit union
Assist the Operations Manager or the CEO/Manager in a variety of duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS NEEDED:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
At least two years of teller experience
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential, along with excellent organizational abilities
Proficient in using personal computers in a Windows environment, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Flexibility in work hours is necessary, along with a strong track record of reliability and dependability.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately is required

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
